Respect Your President -- It Bothers Me

It bothers me deep down inside when:

  • Commentators talk about defeating the President, or making sure he fails.
  • Individuals identifying themselves as "christian" clergy pray for the end of the President's life.
  • People show up in the areas surrounding appearances by the President carrying weapons that they would never have with them in the normal day to day course of business.
  • The continual steam of lies and disrespect coming from the other party concerning everything that the President says or does. 

Isn't it interesting?

Isn't it interesting how symbology all of a sudden comes into play once we're in control?  When the republicans are in control, everything is all scientific and nothing has a double meaning, but when we're in charge, all of a sudden birthdates, names, all sorts of things over which people have control, all of a sudden assume an ominous portent of evil.  And the mainstream press plays along with this garbage.  Incredible!
